It has been a little while since I last did a favourites post and since we have gathered quite a few favourites recently, I have put them all into this post. Although these are geared towards a nine month old, many of these products would also work for younger babies as well. Some of them would make great Christmas presents too!
Gummee Glove* | We were very lucky to be sent this teething glove by Gummee and it quickly made its way into this months favourites! It could not have come at a better time. Freddie is really struggling with teething and we can now see that his gums are thinning out. He loved the silicone teething ring at the top because it was soft enough for him to really bite down on and the fact that it can be used on it’s own is great too. It is fantastic for car journeys as Freddie currently loves to throw his toys on the floor. A bit tricky when there is nobody there to pick them back up again!
Ella’s Kitchen Melty Hoops | Recently I noticed that Freddie was finding it harder to put strips of food into his mouth and seemed ready for much smaller pieces of food. He found it hard to grasp the smaller pieces at first which made him quite frustrated. I bought these as a way for him to practise his pincer grip (although they are now one of his favourites) and I have been amazed at how much he has improved in just a week or so!
VTech First Steps Baby Walker (currently on sale in Tesco!) | I bought this after Freddie kept gravitating towards it during our Baby Sensory classes. We don’t have many other toys that make noises or light up and he was fascinated by it. I love the fact that it is educational too and as he get’s older it will be useful to have as a way of teaching shapes, colours and animals as well.
Ju-Ju-Be Legacy Changing Backpack | I bought this changing bag as a treat for myself when Freddie was just a couple of months old. I am so glad I did because I use it every single day and it still looks brand new. It has multiple different compartments and pockets so I never need to dig around trying to find something and it helps me stay organised. I absolutely love it and is neutral enough for my husband not to mind carrying too.
Bugaboo Cameleon3 Grey Melange | If you follow me on Instagram you will know that until very recently this buggy resided unloved in the boot of our car. Now that Freddie is a bit older and Silent Reflux free I finally get to use this pram and I love it. It is so beautiful but also really functional and so easy to push. I love the colour and with the footmuff on as well Freddie looks so snug inside it.
Panache Sophie Nursing Bra | In an ideal world I would be wearing a lovely push up bra most of the time, but as I am still breastfeeding that isn’t an option right now! In the nine months I have been breastfeeding this is the prettiest, comfy nursing bra that I have found.
Mothercare Walker | This has been an absolute lifesaver now that Freddie is pulling himself up on the furniture. Although he is not keen on being contained for long, it does at least allow me to nip upstairs or for a wee without panicking about what he might be doing without me…
Zara Knitted PomPom Hat | I have had so many compliments on this hat and it just looks adorable on. It has a really soft jersey lining too and Freddie makes no attempt to take it off which is a bonus.
‘WOW! Said the Owl’ By Tim Hopgood | This book has become a firm favourite at bedtime. It is short enough to keep Freddie’s attention and the illustrations are lovely. I find it very relaxing to read too!
See you on Sunday,
*Gummee very kindly sent the glove to us to try, there was no obligation to review and as always any opinions given are our honest points of view.
