I have wanted to introduce a favourites post for a little while now but I wasn’t sure how it would be received. I asked over on Instagram whether this post would interest you, and the resounding answer was YES. I am really not sure how interesting I am, but by sharing the below things with you, I hope you might feel you know me a little better!
I often discover new products based on the recommendations of other Mama’s as well as bloggers/YouTubers so please do let me know if there is something you love, that you think I would too.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) | I have been using this for years and years and it is brilliant! It has a lovely consistency, isn’t drying and is really inexpensive.
Bourjois 123 Perfection CC Cream (£5.95) | Now that I have a baby who is constantly seeking out danger, I need something that is quick and easy to apply! I love this because it looks very natural.
Sanctuary Spa Charcoal Detox Shower Burst (£7) | When we bought our first house, I decided the lack of a bath was not a deal breaker… Three years later I massively regret that decision so, in a bid to make showers a bit more luxurious, I use this!
Pur Illuminate & Glow Primer (£24) | I received a sample of this in my M&S Beauty Calendar and I was hoping not to like it as the full size is expensive… Unfortunately I love it! It has a little hint of colour and gives my skin a nice glow.
Liz Earle Grapefruit & Patchouli Cleanser (£16) | The Liz Earle cleanser has been a firm favourite for a few years now and this limited edition one smells incredible.
Zoflora Antibacterial Disinfectant (£1) |Everyone seems to be raving about Zoflora! It’s super cheap, there are a variety of scents and it can be used in many ways. My lovely friend Rachel wrote a brilliant blog post all about the different uses which is well worth a read.
Vax Steam Clean Mop (currently on sale for £44.99) | With a baby who crawls/cruises, throws his food absolutely everywhere and two dogs, this steam cleaner is essential. It is so easy to whip around on our wooden floors/laminate.
Munchkin Miracle 360 Cup (£4.99) | This cup is brilliant. The design mimics how you would drink from a normal cup and the small holes in the surface help to control the water flow.
Scribbles The Snail Teether (£10.95) | Whilst this may look a little odd, it is a favourite teether of Freddie’s. The tentacles allow baby to soothe the harder to reach areas and also make it really easy to hold.
Mamas & Papas Henly T-Shirt (on sale £7) | Freddie’s Granny gave him some lovely clothes from Mamas & Papas for Christmas and I love them all. The t-shirts are super soft, thick and have poppers up the back which makes them easy to pop on and off.
Ella’s Kitchen Melty Hoops (69p) | These snacks are perfect for on the go and have prevented many a car seat meltdown. They melt in baby’s mouth which means there is less of a choke risk and Freddie loves them.
Tildo Wooden Blocks (£28.99) | Freddie received these for Christmas and I was slightly worried they would be too advanced. Obviously he is not building towers yet but I have been impressed by how much he has played with them already.
Toshiba Flash Air SD Card (£33.99) | This has been a total game changer because I can upload photos straight from my DSLR onto my phone.
The Crown | If you are a fan of a historical series than definitely give ‘The Crown’ a try. The acting is brilliant and it is a fascinating insight into the life of our Queen.
Victoria | You are probably sensing a theme here… Another fantastic historical series and Jenna Coleman is so talented.
My current favourite YouTube/Blogs:
Ysis Lorenna | Mother of two with an honest and refreshing outlook on motherhood. Love her videos!
Pretty Neat Living | Jennifer is Mama to Charlotte and currently pregnant with a baby boy. I have watched her videos for years now and I find her recommendations so, so useful.
Phoebe & Me | Jess is Mama to Phoebe and has recently documented her experiences of going back to work. I love watching her sale hauls and she is so down to earth.
From Rachel Claire | Rachel’s blog is one of my favourites to read. Her baby boy Teddy is utterly beautiful and her posts are hilarious.
Land of Lawson | I often read Hayley’s posts and wonder if she can read my mind! So many of her blog posts have resonated with me and I love her sense of style too.
If you made it to the end, well done! Are any of the above your favourites too?
Thanks for reading and see you on Wednesday,
