2018 | EIGHT GOALS FOR THE NEW YEAR

I struggle a bit with idea of a resolution because it feels a bit like something that you can either get right or wrong- tricky when the world is so busy and life is constantly changing. However, setting goals feels a lot more achievable to me. Something to aim for but not something to feel guilty about if I don’t quite achieve it!

2018 seems like it might be a pretty big year for me. I am starting to look for part-time jobs (scary!), Freddie will be turning one and I would love to continue sharing on this blog and on my Instagram too. I began writing down my goals and realised, rather conveniently, that there were eight. Here they are…

FIVE LESSONS I LEARNT IN 2017

I really want to write a post all about my hopes for 2018, but it seemed wrong to do that without first reflecting on this year. The hardest and best year of my life.  I thought I would summarise it all by sharing the five lessons I have learnt in 2017.

Unfortunately at the moment Freddie’s toys of choice include cables, my laptop, the Christmas tree and heavy candles… Rather than getting frustrated after the third time he has attempted to suck the end of a cable, setting up a simple invitation to play provides a much safer distraction!

FREDDIE’S TEN MONTH UPDATE | HIS FIRST WORD

Freddie’s tenth month has been a complete whirlwind. We have had lots of lovely moments including Freddie’s first word which was so special. Unfortunately Freddie has also struggled with teething and I was unlucky enough to catch two bugs in one week! He is now wearing size 12-18 month clothing because he is super duper long. Besides the teething, Freddie’s tenth month has been a lot of fun and with the run up to Christmas everything feels that bit more magical.
