I could talk about my wedding, particularly the planning process, for hours; I loved every minute of it. My last wedding post was really popular so I asked over on Instagram if you wanted to see more, the answer was a resounding yes. Today’s post is a round up of my top budget bridesmaid dresses. When planning my own wedding, this time of year was a great time to buy Bridesmaid dresses as every shop has plenty of occasion dresses ready for Christmas and New Year. If you aren’t a bridesmaid/bride but are on the lookout for a special occasion dress, then hopefully this post will give you some great ideas too!
If you follow me on Instagram you will probably know that I am just a little bit obsessed with Freddie’s Autumn wardrobe. However lately I have been investing a little more in myself and updating my own wardrobe with easy to wear pieces that can be thrown on with little thought. Particularly important when taking care of a very mobile nine month old! Everything is budget conscious as I am on maternity leave and if you have a little person, you will know that they are expensive… Here are some of the outfits Freddie and I wore this week including my absolute favourite brand of jeans- perfect for flattering my slightly jiggly post-baby body.
Autumn is definitely on it’s way and I have been thinking a lot about updating my wardrobe. Since being a Mama, I have found it really difficult to know what suits me. My body has changed a lot since last Autumn, being pregnant and having a baby will change things just a bit! But I am only twenty-six so I still want to wear clothes that reflect the current trends. As I am slightly obsessed with buying baby boy clothes and currently on maternity leave, budget is an important consideration too. With that in mind. I have put together some current favourites that are all under fifty pounds (and some are actually half price right now!). I have created a board with more ideas for Breastfeeding Friendly Clothes here if you want some further inspo!*Everything in this post is breastfeeding friendly which is obviously important to me because I am still breastfeeding my seven month old. Is there anything more adorable than Autumn/Winter baby clothes? Now that the weather has taken a rather chilly turn, it’s become clear to me that Freddie’s current wardrobe isn’t going to cut it for the chillier months. I love seeing what other Mama’s are buying for their little ones and I thought it might be interesting to show you what I am currently loving. Since transitioning my Instagram into a more motherhood focused account, I have discovered some really great small shops run by some very talented Mum’s, so I’ve added my picks from those as well as my favourite high street stores.
